Frogs Around The World
These are a series of illustrated and screen printed posters that I designed as part of my Final Major Project on the Graphic Design Bachelors degree at the University of Portsmouth in 2021. The concept was to create an exhibition for primary school children that parents could set up in their homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The exhibition was about how various cultures hold different interpretations of animals, in this case frogs. The idea was to educate children that had spent a lot of the last year stuck inside without access to museums or galleries on cultural differences. I designed six screen printed posters that parents would be able to hang around their house to create an at-home exhibition for their children during the pandemic. Each poster focuses on what a frog represents in a different culture and has a unique illustration, I created continuity throughout the series by using the same fonts and two-colour palette across all six posters.
