I pitched this concept to the editorial team as I thought an animation for International Women's Day would be different to the regular content that other brands are putting out there and a great opportunity to highlight some statistics to show that, even though we are moving in the right direction, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. I worked with an editorial writer, Jasmine Walter, on the script and then story boarded the minute long animation. I then worked with the her to record the voiceover and following that I drew and animated all the illustrations to accompany the voiceover. We turned this animation around in just six days and I'm very proud to have been a part of this project.
