Welcome to Football
Brief
Create a social campaign for Mastercard, that lives on the instagram page of digital publisher Freeda, that encourages young women to get involved in football.
Response
A multimedia campaign called “Welcome to Football” that breaks down four key aspects of the football ecosystem from grassroots to fans, professional players and pundits, launching with a carousel that covers these four pillars, illustrated in the in-house style that I developed whilst working at Freeda UK. Followed by a video series where each episode explores each pillar, which were accompanied by illustrations and graphic posts that reflect the values brought to light in each episode. I also designed the motion graphic that encompasses the series. The results were a success with the campaign having an overall 8.82% engagement rate.
